Critical Resources (CRR) has engaged a contractor to undertake an airborne electromagnetic survey at the Mavis Lake Lithium Project.
The Mavis Lake Project lies 19 kilometres east of Dryden in Ontario, Canada, in a well-established lithium province.
The aim of this survey is to gain detailed magnetic, radiometric and very low frequency (VLF) electromagnetic data over the entire project.
The data from the survey will be used to identify potential targets for future drill programs and for due diligence activities.
This will also be the last chance to undertake an airborne survey before winter impacts the effectiveness of measurements.
Additionally, it supports Critical Resources’ strategy to immediately begin adding value to the project with the overall aim of defining a JORC compliant lithium resource.
The survey is expected to begin within the next two weeks and, subject to weather, take roughly one week to complete.
Initial results are expected soon after completion with final results to come before Christmas.
“The opportunity to complete an airborne geophysics survey at Mavis Lake is crucial to our strategy of accelerating our effective data collection to inform high quality drill targets,” CEO Alex Biggs said.
“We believe that the planned works at Mavis Lake along with our upcoming drill program at Halls Peak represent a significant period of upcoming growth for the company.”
Critical Resources was up 5.56 per cent with shares trading for 3.8 cents at 1:15 pm AEDT.
