Discovered in 1875 by prospectors James Ryan and Samuel Hawkes, DBO’s Horn Silver Mine went on to become a significant silver producer in the United States.

Diablo Resources CEO Lyle Thorne provides an on-site update from the historic Horn Silver Mine in Utah, following the company’s recent exercise of its option and full consolidation of the Horn Silver Project.

In this video, Lyle discusses the mine’s history, the King David Shaft—which provided access to the deeper levels of the mine during production in the 1940s and 1950s—and Diablo’s plans for further exploration.
