Tartana Minerals (ASX: TAT) took off after it reported high-grade copper and gold assay results from follow-up selective rock-chip sampling and geological mapping across its Bellevue project area in Far North Queensland.

When integrated with historical drilling, geological mapping, historical workings and geophysical interpretation, the new results define multiple copper-gold targets for systematic follow-up during the next phase of field exploration

“When I first visited OK–Bellevue, what struck me was the extent of the old workings and how little systematic modern exploration had been undertaken across the broader area. It was an obvious place for us to focus our efforts,” executive chairman, Sonny Didugu, said.

“Results of 17.1% copper at OK Blocks, 12.0 g/t gold at Hobblechain and more than 10% copper in two samples at Windmill are a very encouraging return from a focused field program. These results come from separate prospects and, when considered alongside historical drilling and geophysics, indicate several areas that warrant follow-up.”

TAT jumped 50.0% to 1.7c.

Mesoblast (ASX: MSB) was closely watched on HotCopper forums after reporting a 44% increase in net revenue from sales of Ryoncil and an 85% improvement in net operating cash spend for the period ended September 30 versus the prior year period.

September experienced the highest number of new patient starts per month, following the expected seasonality from summer recess-related treatment scheduling that occurs each July and August.

“We see strong year-on-year increase in net revenues and plan for continued growth by increasing penetration and adoption across the 54 onboarded sites,” said Mesoblast chief executive Dr Silviu Itescu.

“In parallel, we will continue to show disciplined capital allocation for our commercial manufacturing needs and late-stage clinical programs, in order to maximise shareholder value.”

MSB was down 1.03% to $1.92.

Haranga Resources (ASX: HAR) jumped after hitting high-grade gold in the first hole of phase 2 drilling at Lincoln in the US.

“The phase 2 drilling program is off to a strong start with the first hole returning a substantial high-grade intersection in the southern part of the Lincoln resource,” MD and CEO, Patrick Mutz, said.

“Our priority with this program is to improve resource confidence needed for mine planning and potential Ore Reserve estimation as part of a planned pre-feasibility study.

“This drilling program is an important prerequisite to the technical work which we continue to advance while also working to finalise our broader re-development strategy for Lincoln.”

HAR was up 32.1% to 7.0¢.

Looking wider, the S&P/ASX 200 was up today, gaining 76.10 points or 0.87% to 8,795.80. Over the last five days, the index has gained 0.91% but is virtually unchanged year to date.

Elsewhere, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has published a draft decision to grant Australian Gas Networks (AGN) exemptions from gas ring-fencing obligations for its Hydrogen Park South Australia (HyP SA) and Hydrogen Park Gladstone (HyP Gladstone) hydrogen trial projects.

This exemption will enable AGN to continue operating HyP SA and HyP Gladstone without creating a separate business entity. The exemption will enable AGN to share marketing staff across all its projects.
