Drilling work at the WA prospect picked up 20 metres at 6.1g/t of gold from 153m in one hole (LVEX027), from a wider intercept of 96m at 2.5 g/t of gold from 125m.
Six other intercepts were found within the larger 96-metre interval: These being two metres at 4.6 g/t Au from 128m; six metres at 1.0 g.t Au from 134m; 20 metres at 6.1 g/t Au from 153m; four metres at 2.5 g.t Au from 176m; five metres at 2.7 g/t Au from 189m; and four metres at 4.7 g/t Au from 213m.
Gorilla CEO Charles Hughes said the intercept of 6.1g/t of gold had been yielded from the deepest drill hole to date at this discovery site. “This intercept in LVEX027 is significantly thicker than previous intercepts and our working interpretation is it’s a sigmoidal jog or a linking structure in the shear zone,” he said.
Gorilla next intends to bring another reverse circulation drill rig on site in the next two weeks, to further explore the Lakeview prospect as soon as possible.

Mr Hughes then added on next steps: “We are still working on this interpretation and our knowledge will improve with further drilling.
“Alteration and low-level gold anomalism in the up-dip holes seems to confirm this sigmoidal jog interpretation.”
