Good afternoon, and welcome to the HotCopper HotList Top 10. Every week, hundreds of companies go through the ups and downs of the ASX trading rollercoaster, with fortunes made and equity lost each time the Aussie bourse opens – which is why keeping an eye on all the trending stocks is so key.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

We’ve put together the HotCopper HotList: The top ten ASX-listed companies added to HotCopper users’ watchlists, so you can keep an eye on them too – and broken down why the top three companies made trending lists.

Now, without any more Friday waffling, let’s look at the stocks.

First up: 4DMedical (ASX:4DX) is the (very) unsurprising winner when it comes to HotList updates through Week 37, with over 1,000 new followers.

My colleague Jonathon Davidson and I spoke about 4DX at length on the HotCopper Wire this week, so definitely check that recording out if you want to hear more, but I’ll wrap things up a bit more concisely here, too.

On Monday, the biotech company locked in a series of agreements in Australia and Brazil, with the former seeing it link up with a private entity called Spectrum Medical Imaging to assist delivery of the Australian National Lung Cancer Screening Program. It should be “revolutionary” for lung imaging.

The news saw 4DX up +44% this week (That’s why it’s on the HotList.)

Then, coming in second was another health-geared stock, Imagion Biosystems (ASX:IBX). It caught eyes – and climbed in value – after its MagSense imaging agent manufacturing got started through Week 37.

It also has a Phase 2 HER2 breast cancer clinical trial starting in the U.S. before the end of the year; HotCopper traders seem to like all the news.

So too the wider bourse, with IBX up to +94% higher since Monday.

And rounding out the podium is fledgling Australian gold miner New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG), which recently shipped away Crown Prince’s first gold-bearing ore haul to Westgold’s Bluebird facility.

NMG shares are at 2.6c each this week.

The rest of the top 10 on the HotList this week were:

  • Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS)
  • Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC)
  • Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR)
  • Red Mountain Mining (ASX:RMX)
  • Matsa Resources (ASX:MAT)
  • Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE)
  • Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY)

To find HotCopper’s Hotlist, click on “My Account” and then “My Profile” on the HotCopper home page. Then, select “My Watchlist,” where you see all your followed stocks and scroll to the bottom. The HotList section is there.
