A rejuvenated Truscott Mining Corporation (ASX: TRM) is undertaking planning for a drilling campaign at the Westminster project in the Tennant Creek Mineral Field (TCMF) in the Northern Territory.

The Watchlist — short video interviews with ASX leaders. Watch now.

After its first meetings under the company’s refreshed leadership held with Traditional Owners and the Barkly Regional Council in Tennant Creek, Truscott is moving into its next stage of exploration growth and project development.

“Following Truscott’s recent board and management refresh and with a JORC 2012 resource estimation update in progress, our focus is on the next phase of targeted exploration and development activities,” chairman, Peter Smith, said.

“We have recently visited the Tennant Creek region to finalise our planned diamond drilling program at Westminster and progress discussions with the local council and community, with whom we have a historical relationship.

“The Westminster project is a truly exciting gold exploration and development opportunity, underpinned by a high-grade resource, compelling targets and located within the geological setting of the Tennant Creek Mineral Field, which has a proven history of gold production and has seen recent corporate activity through the $311 million Emmerson Resources acquisition by Pan African Resources.

“We are committed to advancing Westminster and unlocking value for our shareholders and local stakeholders.”

Westminster sits within the well-known and world-class TCMF and contains gold, copper, bismuth and iron mineralisation.

The TCMF boasts historical production of more than five million ounces of gold, approximately 470,000 tonnes of copper and more than 21,000 tonnes of bismuth.

The district has recently seen renewed corporate activity, with gold production recommencing at the Nobles operation in 2025 and Pan African Resources completing its acquisition of Emmerson Resources in mid-2026.

The company is currently finalising the scope and sequencing of the proposed drilling program at Westminster, drawing on its ongoing review of geological, structural and historical exploration information, including previous drilling. The planned objectives are:

• Infill drilling to support an updated JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate; and

• Testing for potential extensions of structurally controlled mineralisation at depth.

TRM was steady at 4.7¢. Mkt cap $10.32M.
