West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) is just about to begin a major drilling program to test the potential for additional silver beneath the historic Elizabeth Hill project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, it heralded today.

This April CY26 program is part of the Western Australian company’s “pearls on a string” exploration concept that high-grade silver mineralisation repeats at regular intervals along the key Munni Munni Fault, and if proven correct, could materially expand the scale of the Elizabeth Hill system.

The company is planning to drill up to 1,500 metres diamond drilling (DD) holes in a program, which is expected to start in early April.

West Coast’s executive chairman, Bruce Garlick, said the drilling is designed to expand the existing footprint of the high-grade silver mineralisation down-dip and plunge of the historical Elizabeth Hill silver mine.

“Our previous 2025 drilling confirmed that silver mineralisation at Elizabeth Hill extends beyond the historical underground mine and is associated with a broader structural corridor along the Munni Munni Fault,” Mr Garlick said.

“This current program of diamond drilling below Elizabeth Hill is designed to determine whether there are high-grade silver extensions below and south of the mine.

“The drilling will also test whether high-grade mineralisation repeats at depth; a model that, if confirmed, could materially expand the resource potential.”

Drilling is expected to take approximately four to six weeks. Assay results are anticipated to be received progressively through Q2 2026.

West Coast Silver is running multiple exploration programs from the end of March to the end of May CY26, comprising reverse circulation drilling, diamond drilling, borehole and surface geophysics.

The company’s focus through the next three months of exploration will be on processing, interpreting and reporting results, as well as dynamic repositioning of remaining planned drill holes to maximise chances of success from results received.

Elizabeth Hill is one of Australia’s highest-grade silver projects and has a proven production history. The project benefits from world-leading silver grades located on a mining lease with proximity to the Radio Hill processing facility and the Port of Dampier.

WCE is steady at 16.8¢ late on Wednesday.
