Hearing health technology company Audeara (AUA) has signed a reseller agreement with Specsavers.

Under the agreement, Audeara’s products will be available for sale through Specsavers’ 238 stores that offer audiology services.

This marks a 20 per cent increase in the number of audiology clinics stocking Audeara’s products, bringing the total to 1369.

“Audeara is particularly pleased to be working with Specsavers to provide our world-leading solutions to a company with shared values, to help people regain the joy of better hearing, and helping make early intervention more accessible to Australians with hearing loss,” Audeara Founder and CEO James Fielding said.

“In addition to the expansion in clinics stocking our products, Specsavers provides exposure to an even wider customer base, expanding our reach beyond traditional audiology clinic customers.”

Over the next few months, Audeara will begin onboarding and stocking its products at Specsavers clinics and, upon completion, Specsavers will be the second-largest clinic in Australia stocking Audeara products.

Meanwhile, for Specsavers, today’s agreement would allow it to expand its offering by rolling out more audiology services across its optometry stores.

Shares in Audeara were up 9.64 per cent on the market and were trading at 9.1 cents at 12:47 pm AEST.
