Infinity Lithium (INF) has, through its subsidiary Extremadura New Energies, been awarded regional grant funding to run its lithium tech training courses in Spain.

The company noted today the grant funding commitment reflects the regional government’s interest in Infinity’s flagship lithium play, “due to its significant impact on employment opportunities…in Extremadura.”

According to Infinity, it is the only company in the region successfully executing technical training plans in lithium technology to boost employment and education outcomes for keen Extremadura workers.

“We are proud to lead with the development career pathways and the progression of new industries…against the backdrop of the inevitable rapid evolution to e-Mobility,” Extremadura New Energies CEO Ramón Jiménez said.

“The funds committed to the programs reinforce our commitment with the city and the citizens of Cáceres. Through the progression of San José, we are facilitating generational opportunities.”
