  • MRE update re-affirms mineral resource being upgraded to the Indicated category.
  • Compliant Indicated and Inferred resource containing 3.5 MT of CaF2.
  • Update also includes high-grade component of 8.6 million tonnes at 22.3% CaF2
  • IP survey will commence at Niobe in November

Tivan (ASX: TVN) has delivered an increase of four per cent in total tonnage in an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Speewah fluorite project in the Kimberley region of WA.

The Watchlist — short video interviews with ASX leaders. Watch now.

The update completed by SRK Consulting followed completion of the stage two drilling program at the project in October 2026 that delivered approximately 14km of drilling.

The drilling completed and the updated MRE support the detailed feasibility study (DFS) for the project which is focused on a mining and processing operation producing acid-grade fluorspar (>97% CaF2) for export into global markets.

Executive chairman, Grant Wilson, said the MRE update materially enhances the integrity of the resource and supports updated mine planning and production scheduling for the DFS, which is focused on a mining and processing operation producing acid-grade fluorspar for export into global markets.

“We are very pleased to have finalised the mineral resource estimate for Speewah, providing the geological foundation that will underpin our definitive feasibility study,” Mr Wilson said.

“Our mining plan is now based on 100% Indicated category, which will enable the optimisation of Ore Reserves, as we head toward a Final Investment Decision for Australia’s first fluorite project next year.

“This important milestone reflects two seasons of extensive fieldwork led by Tivan’s geology team, working in close collaboration with a wide array of contractors, along with cultural monitors representing Nganjuwarr and Yurriyangem Taam.”

The Speewah project now hosts a JORC (2012) compliant Indicated and Inferred resource of 45.0 million tonnes at 7.8% CaF2 containing 3.5 million tonnes CaF2.

The MRE update includes a high-grade component of 8.6 million tonnes at 22.3% CaF2 (10% CaF2 cut-off grade) containing 1.9 million tonnes CaF2.

Potential remains to extend known fluorite mineralisation along strike and at depth, with several mineralised zones remaining open beyond the current MRE boundaries.

Additional opportunities for resource growth exist across the broader Speewah fluorite project, including at the Southern Veins and Dingo Vein. These areas highlight the considerable exploration potential of the Project beyond the currently defined mineral resource estimate.

An induced polarisation (IP) survey will commence at Niobe in November ,

TVN was steady at 14.5¢ with a Mkt cap of $340.3M.
