  • Over 73m of visual chalcocite and chalcopyrite sulphide mineralisation intersected.
  • Expands known mineralised footprint by 50m to the northeast.
  • Ongoing drilling highlights project’s high-grade copper potential.
  • Data gained from first hole further updates the company’s geological model.

White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) has received further positive assay results and observations from its drilling at Danvers in the Rae copper project in Nunavut, with recent drilling confirming the presence of chalcocite and bornite as the dominant sulphide minerals within mineralised zones intersected across the site.

The explorer’s MD, Troy Whittaker, said identification of chalcocite and bornite is highly encouraging, as both minerals are associated with high-grade copper mineralisation and favourable metallurgical characteristics.

Chalcocite contains ~80% copper by weight, while bornite contains ~63% copper, making them among the most copper-rich sulphide minerals.

“Danvers 1 continuing to grow with assays from DAN26020 extending mineralisation southwest towards the 2026 discoveries on the Teshierpi Fault Zone. With assays still pending from DAN26022 and DAN26023, which tested growth to the north and northeast, we see strong potential for further expansion of the system,” Mr Whittaker said.

“Importantly, our first diamond drillhole into the Teshierpi Fault Zone has intersected more than 70 metres of copper sulphide mineralisation and has materially improved our understanding of the architecture of the system.

“The hole has isolated a key mineralised horizon within the fault and breccia package, giving us a much clearer target for follow-up drilling along strike and at depth.

“Drilling will now continue to target high-grade copper zones, with the northeast extent of the fault zone still largely untested and representing a significant near-term growth opportunity.”

With the Danvers 1 mineralised footprint expanding significantly, White Cliff is now drilling holes with a vector to further high-grade prospective areas.

At the same time, assays from Danvers diamond drilling are expected in four to six weeks.

WCN is steady at 1.5¢. Mkt cap $39.72M.
