Market Open: ASX to fall in line with US markets overnight

The ASX is set to fall -0.60% according to futures an hour out from trade after Wall Street ended in the red overnight.

Both the S&P500 and the NASDAQ ended down two tenths of a percent as sustained pressure in the US bond market appeared to suddenly matter to investors. Wall Street’s fear gauge is currently at neutral.

There were no major moves in commodities overnight; Brent’s still US$100/bbl and gold’s still at US$4.1K/oz.

Elevra Lithium has caught eyes after inking a spodumene supply agreement with none other than South Korea’s LG Energy Solution,

SRJ Technologies has meanwhile released an update on its “asset integrity strategy” which investors have perused this morning,

Ramelius Resources has meanwhile released its September 2026 quarterly update, and,

Metal Hawk Ltd has disclosed results of a recent drill run at Numbat Shear reporting high-grade gold.
