American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX: AT4) continues to make strides with its US mine-to-metal strategy with success at the White Spar antimony mine in Arizona and the Antimony Canyon project in Utah.

The Watchlist — short video interviews with ASX leaders. Watch now.

CEO, Casper Adson, said both assets represent potential sources of antimony feedstock for the Del Sol refinery, alongside third-party supply arrangements, with the strategic priority being to establish a reliable and diversified US-sourced feedstock supply to underpin its mine-to-metal strategy.

“Producing 99.8% pure antimony ingot from White Spar material at Del Sol was a major milestone in demonstrating our US mine-to-metal strategy. The latest results build on that achievement, with further high-grade antimony at Antimony Canyon and significant silver mineralisation at White Spar,” Mr Adson said.

“The silver results are particularly encouraging, opening the potential for an additional saleable product at Del Sol. We are now investigating whether silver recovery could add value to our processing operations and strengthen the refinery’s economics.

“Our mine-to-metal strategy is not dependent on developing any single mine. By sourcing feedstock from existing workings, third-party suppliers and potentially our own exploration projects, we aim to build a flexible, commercially competitive US critical minerals business.”

Mr Adson said the company will assess the relative value and development timeline of all potential feedstock sources to secure supply, prioritising feedstock sources based on availability, processing suitability, development timelines and potential commercial returns.

He said the identification of significant silver mineralisation at White Spar, including grades of up to 432 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from in situ sampling and 665 g/t Ag from historical spoil, has prompted AT4 to investigate potential silver recovery as an additional product stream at Del Sol.

This assessment will consider the technical and commercial feasibility of incorporating silver recovery into the refinery’s proposed development plans.

AT4 was down 4.55% to 4.2¢. Mkt cap $80.08M.
