Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) is ramping up drilling at Golden Gate South, part of its high-profile Horse Heaven project in Idaho, with two rigs in action. The company has drilled 16 diamond core holes for 4,470 metres, with a third of planned drill holes now completed in the planned 13,700, 45-hole program.

The program is designed to define the scale and extent of gold mineralisation at Golden Gate North and Golden Gate South, where tungsten is also a target.
CEO of U.S. operations, Craig Lindsay, said two large sample batches of core samples have already been dispatched for multi-element analysis.
“I am exceedingly pleased with the drill rate we are achieving at Golden Gate South. All core needs to be carefully logged, including but not limited to lithology, alteration and mineralisation, then appropriately sampled. On this front, we are up to date,” he told Resolution shareholders today.
He added: “We have also submitted two large batches of samples, for which we are certainly looking forward to receiving the results.”
Golden Gate is within Resolution’s Horse Heaven antimony-tungsten-gold-silver project and immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources’ stibnite gold project.
In late June, Resolution was admitted as a member of the U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC), providing access to a broad range of U.S. defence supply chain initiatives and funding opportunities.
DIBC membership supports Resolution’s engagement with the US Department of Defense and related critical minerals programs, which remain a strategic priority of the U.S. government.
The company has submitted a funding application related to its tungsten development strategy and is evaluating additional opportunities to support the advancement of its antimony supply chain initiatives.
Membership provides opportunities to collaborate with government agencies, industry participants, research institutions, and other organisations involved in strengthening domestic critical mineral supply chains.
RML was steady at 4.4¢. Mkt cap $8.854M.
